1973 Plymouth ‘Cuda

Owner purchased his Black/White Stripe ‘cuda in 1983 when he was 19 years old, after completing his freshman year at Mass. Maritime Academy. For the next 3 years the cuda brought him home from MMA to Needham and other places on the weekends. Upon graduation the cuda was put into storage for many years. At 15 years old it was badly rusted and with just over 100k miles, the 340 was tired. The restoration started in 1995, but was stopped and restarted repeatedly. Eventually the entire car was dis-assembled. The engine was rebuilt and Dyno tested. The paint and final assembly took place at Boyd’s Customs and Classics in Bedford NH. The finished ‘cuda is now exactly as it was sold new in 1973, although more power from the 340.
Owner is a graduate of Needham High School class of 1982. His father Bob Goodman was an English teacher at NHS for 30 years and he was also an active Needham Exchange member for many years!!!
